Yesterday evening, at least 12 people were martyred and 35 others were injured as a result of 4 Israeli enemy raids on southern and eastern Lebanon.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced in 2 separate statements that “the Israeli enemy’s raid on Kassar Al-Zaatar area in the southern city of Nabatieh led to the martyrdom of 5 people and the injury of 21 others. In addition, body parts were removed from the site of the raid and are being examined to determine their identities”.
The center stated in its second statement that 5 other people were martyred and 10 others were injured in an Israeli raid in the area of “Maali – Baalbek-Hermel”.
In turn, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that 2 people were martyred in an Israeli raid on the town of Haris in the south.
4 people were also injured in another enemy raid on the town of Nabi Sheet.
In the same context, the Israeli enemy renewed its attacks on the towns and villages of southern Lebanon, the Bekaa and Baalbek. One of its air raids on the town of Shebaa caused the road connecting it to the town of Hebarieh to be cut off.
The enemy raids also targeted the town of Hanin in the Bint Jbeil district, coinciding with enemy artillery shelling that target the town’s neighborhoods.
The enemy repeated its air raids on Mount Harmon on the outskirts of the town of Rmeish, coinciding with concentrated artillery shelling on the town of Aita al-Shaab, the town of Sinai, and the towns of Aba and Jebshit.
The Israeli air aggression that targeted the industrial area in Marj Harouf yesterday evening led to an environmental and economic disaster. It caused the destruction of a number of shops and the outbreak of fires in them and in warehouses for oils, car tires, industrial materials, car parts and cafes, which turned the area into a fireball whose smoke covered the whole area.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon had risen to 2,546 martyrs and 11,862 wounded.
