Tens of people demonstrate in front of Minnesota University in protest against the US-backed brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

Dozens of people demonstrated in front of the University of Minnesota in protest against the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinians for more than a year and against the support provided by the US administration to the occupation entity.

The American CBS News network reported that “30 people from the group that organized a demonstration in front of Morrill Hall (the university’s administrative building) entered the building and held a sit-in inside it.”

University officials demanded that those present in Morrill Hall leave the building and others stay away from the area, while the police arrested 11 of the protesters under the pretext of blocking the entrances and exits of the building, while the protest organizers insisted on not leaving until their demands are met.

Protests in solidarity with the Palestinians began at Columbia University in the United States last April before expanding to several universities around the world, amid widespread arrest campaigns launched by the police against hundreds of protesting students.
