Kuwait (ST)-Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed that his country does not want war in the region but is prepared for it and is ready for all scenarios.

IRNA quoted Araghchi as saying today in a press conference in Kuwait: “The countries of the region have the ability to prevent a disaster in the region through joint efforts to reduce escalation”.

Araghchi indicated that Iran seeks a comprehensive cessation of the war in Gaza, Lebanon and the region and is doing its utmost to prevent a disaster in them, but there may be different paths, and Iran follows all paths and communicates with countries that are active in this regard.

Araghchi stressed that there is a common understanding to prevent the escalation of tension through the importance of the good neighborliness policy that the Iranian government continues to follow.

Regarding the Israeli threats to Iran, Araghchi said: “All countries of the region have informed us that they oppose launching any attack on Iran. “He explained that if the Zionist entity attacks his country in any way, it will be responded to in the same way.

Araghchi noted that “Israel” continues to commit these crimes with the support of the United States and some European countries.
