Irwani: Biden’s statements about knowing the timing of the Zionist attack on Iran are provocative
New York(ST)-Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Irwani, described US President Joe Biden’s statements regarding the timing of the Zionist entity’s possible attack on Iran as provocative and deeply worrying.
In a letter sent yesterday to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council, Irwani called Biden’s remarks are “provocative and alarming” because they signal the tacit approval of the United States and its public support for the illegal military aggression of the Zionist entity against Iran.
Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations pointed out that these statements also contradict Washington’s repeated claims that it supports de-escalation in the region.
