Israeli occupation forces detain 23 Palestinians in the West Bank

This morning, the Israeli occupation forces detained 23 Palestinians from different areas in the West Bank.

WAFA News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the villages and towns of Umm Safa, Al-Mughayyir, Silwad and Deir Abu Mash’al in Ramallah, raiding homes, firing poison gas bombs and vandalizing property. They then detained 11 Palestinians and detained about 30 others for hours, while they reinforced their military presence and checkpoints in several neighborhoods in the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

The occupation forces also stormed the towns of Beit Fajjar, Al-Doha and Janatah in Bethlehem, the city of Nablus and the town of Jama’in to the south, several neighborhoods in the city of Al Khalil (Hebron), the town of Deir al-Ghusun and the Shuweika suburb in Tulkarm. They raided and searched homes and ransacked their contents, then detained 12 Palestinians, including two children.

Dozens of settlers stormed the archeological site in the city of Sebastia northwest of Nablus, under heavy protection from the occupation forces, and carried out provocative tours there.

Yesterday, the occupation forces detained at least 30 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, including former prisoners.
