Palestinian Resistance Movement announces the Martyrdom of Head of its Political Office, Yahya al-Sinwar
The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas announced today the martyrdom of the head of its political office, Yahya al-Sinwar, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
The leader of the movement, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, said during a press conference: “the Islamic resistance movement Hamas mourns the death of the great leader, the martyr Mujahid Yahya al-Sinwar, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas and the commander of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, who was martyred fighting and confronting the occupation army until the last moment of his life.”
Al-Hayya stressed that the martyrdom of al-Sinwar and other leaders saying this will only increase Hamas and the Resistance Factions ‘ firmness and determination to continue on the path of resistance to confront the Israeli occupation until the realization of the aspirations of the Palestinian people in comprehensive liberation, return and the establishment of an independent state on the entire Palestinian national territory with Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Hayya indicated that the occupation detainees held by the resistance will only return with halting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, withdrawing completely from it and releasing the heroic prisoners from the Israeli occupation prisons.
