Martyrs and Wounded, Mostly Children and Women, Following the Occupation’s Bombing of Several Areas of the Gaza Strip

A number of Palestinians, mostly children and women were martyred and others were injured this morning after Israeli occupying forces targeted several areas of the devastated Gaza Strip as the ongoing genocide entered its 378th day.

According to WAFA News Agency, the occupying forces shelled a group of Palestinians in the area of Jabalia al-Balad in the northern Gaza Strip, killing a young man and injuring others, while the bodies of two martyrs were recovered from Jabalia al-Balad amid continued flight raids on the area and and heavy bombardment of residential buildings.Civil defense confirmed that several families in the north of the Strip were trapped under the rubble of their homes.

Two Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured by the occupation shelling of the al-Sabra neighborhood and the Al-Saftawi area in Gaza City, while a number of Palestinians, including children, were martyred  all ofrom one family.  A young man was shot dead by a sniper on Ahmad Yassin Street, north-west of the city, and several others were hit by artillery shelling on a house in the same area.Also  a number of Palestinians were injured after aircrafts bombed a house in the Tall al-Hawa neighborhood, south-west of the city.

Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics confirmed the recovery of the bodies of children after a rocket attack by occupying forces on a house in al-Nasr Street, north-west of Gaza City, and the recovery of two martyrs from one family east of the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south-east of the city.

In the center of the Strip, a child died from severe burns he sustained when the occupation bombed Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. A second child died by the shelling of a tent in the Al-Hakr area of the city, amid continued heavy artillery shelling north of Al-Bureij camp and on the Al-Maghraqa area, while the occupation boats opened fire on the western areas of Al-Nuseirat camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, an elderly man was killed in the shelling of the occupation in the city of Khan Younis. A young man was martyred in the shelling of a group of Palestinians east of Rafah. Two airstrikes were also carried out in the al-Muawasi coastal area west of the city.

 

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of victims of the occupation’s ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip increased to 42,438 martyrs and 99,246 wounded.
