Czech President calls on international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop wars

Prague, (ST) – Czech President Petr Pavel called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop the wars and conflicts that the world is going through.

In his speech at the Forum 2000, held in Prague, Pavel pointed out the duty of major world powers to use their capabilities to establish peace and international cooperation.He added that spreading misleading information creates hatred and undermines the unity of societies.

Pavel clarified that more open positions should be adopted towards Africa and Latin America, and it is necessary for Africa to have greater representation in international institutions.
