European officials condemn occupation’s bombing of displaced Palestinians in central Gaza Strip

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, condemned the Israeli occupation’s bombing of displaced Palestinians in central Gaza Strip.

Borrell said in a post on X platform: “I condemn the new attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces on a hospital and a school sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah and al-Nuseirat camp, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded.”

In a related context, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said: “Civilians in northern Gaza have been given no choice but to leave the area or die of hunger,” warning that the health system in northern Gaza is almost collapsing.

Lazzarini pointed out that the occupation forces have not allowed the United Nations to provide any aid in the area, including food, since September 30.
