Syria wins Gold and silver medals in West Asian Badminton Championship

The Syrian badminton team won gold and silver medals in the West Asian Championship currently held in the Sultanate of Oman.

Our team won the gold medal for the under-17 team category, while the silver one was for the under-15 team category.

58 male and female players are participating in the championship, representing eight countries from the West Asian region: Syria, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, in addition to the host country, the Sultanate of Oman.
