Several Urban Areas in Damascus, Hama and Homs Hit by Shells and Missiles

PROVINCES,(ST)_Missile and mortar attacks have killed at least a civilian and wounded eight others in Hama, Damascus and Homs provinces, the official news agency (SANA) reports.

The civilian was martyred and two of his sons were seriously wounded when a missile-fired by terrorists- landed today near the electricity  building in Mhardeh city in Hama province.

Two more missiles hit an agricultural land on the outskirt of the same city and the surroundings of the evangelical Church, causing damages to several cars at the scene, a source at Hama governorate said.

About 7 shells hit urban areas 

Other mortar attacks took place in Jaramana city and Kashkol quarter in Damascus countryside as well as in Bestan al-Dor and al-Tejara areas in Damascus where five civilians were wounded.

Some five shells struck the said areas in Damascus and its countryside, according to the official agency, which added that two shells-fired by terrorists- landed near a bakery in al-Mal’ab quarter in central Homs province.

At least a civilian was wounded by the mortar attack in Homs leaving material damages at the scene.

Yesterday, several shells struck quarters the of al-Zahra’a, al-Insha’at, Karm al-Shami, Ekrema, Karmellouz and al-Adaweyeh in Homs city, killing four civilians and wounding 20 others.
