Palestinian Resistance Factions: Al-Aqsa Flood Operation has thwarted the occupation’s plans and replaced the Palestinian cause at the top of the world’s priorities
The Palestinian resistance factions affirmed that the Battle of Al-Aqsa flood operation has thwarted the Israeli occupation’s Judaization plans, and returned the Palestinian cause to the top of the world’s priorities and came in the context of the natural response to its crimes against the Palestinian people.
They stressed the continuation of the struggle until liberation and the defeat of the occupation.
“The glorious seventh of October was a historic milestone in our struggle project, which constituted a natural response to the Zionist plots that aim to eliminate our national cause, tighten control over our land, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rest of the holy sites and Judaize them,” Hamas said in a statement today, marking the 1st anniversary of “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation launched on October 7th , 2023.
The statement added “Since October 7th last year, and over the course of a whole year, this Nazi enemy has committed the most heinous crimes and massacres, and has waged against Palestinian people the most horrific war of genocide witnessed in contemporary history, leaving more than 41,500 martyrs, most of them women and children, and more than 96,000 wounded and injured, and thousands are still missing under the rubble and debris, in addition to thousands of detainees in Gaza Strip alone”.
Hamas indicated that “In the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), more than 600 martyrs have been killed, a quarter of them are children, and more than 6,000 have been wounded. Nearly 11,000 of our people are still prisoners in the occupation’s prisons, and are being subjected to the most heinous forms of torture, abuse, and slow killing.”
The statement stressed that the cowardly assassination crimes carried out by the fascist occupation against the leaders, symbols and cadres of the resistance forces inside and outside Palestine and against the resistance leaders on the support fronts will only increase the resistance’s strength, steadfastness and determination to confront the occupation and its aggressive plans until it is defeated and eliminated.
The statement considered the US administration as a partner in this aggression and fully responsible for the continuation of the genocide, demanding that it stops supporting the occupation, and pointing out that the Zionist enemy’s expansion of the circle of its aggression to include Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Iran proves once again that this entity poses a real threat to the security and stability of the region and to regional and international peace and security.
For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine pointed out that the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa constituted a strategic turning point and its lessons in planning and implementation will continue to be taught in military academies, stressing that the enemy failed to achieve its goals, most notably eliminating the resistance, and continues in a state of confusion and defeat in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.
The Joint Room of the Palestinian Resistance Factions confirmed that the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa and what followed constituted a turning point in the struggle of the Palestinian people, as it forever destroyed the theory of deterrence that the occupation had tried to impose since its establishment and opened the door for the free resistance fighters of the nation to join forces with the resistance fighters and fighters of Palestine as a step on the path to liberating Palestine.
