Medical teams and cadres continue to provide the necessary health and treatment services to those arriving in Syria from brotherly Lebanon through border crossings as part of the emergency response to the repercussions of the ongoing fascist Israeli aggression on Lebanese territories.
” The number of medical services provided to arrivals from Lebanon through border crossings in the countryside of Damascus, Tartous and Homs reached 18,132 services, in addition to 2,014 services in shelter centers, 266 services in hospitals and 224 ambulance transportation services,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement, which SANA received a cop of it.
The statement indicated that the services provided included general medical services, such as surgical and emergency operations, mental and reproductive health services, chronic diseases and nutrition, in addition to the necessary vaccines for children and the tetanus vaccine for women.
It is noteworthy that the ministry has put all hospitals affiliated with the health directorates in the border governorates with Lebanon in full readiness to receive any cases and provide the crossings with equipped ambulances around the clock, in addition to doctors and sending the necessary medicines and medical supplies.
