Under the title” Ibn Sina’s Methods”, the activities of the Second Syrian-Russian Conference on Healthcare were launched today at the Faculty of Medicine, Damascus University.
The conference aims to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of health care between the Russian Federation and Syria.
The two-day conference includes general sessions, specialized sessions on ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, laboratory techniques in reproductive medicine, pediatrics, anesthesia and resuscitation, ensuring biosafety, epidemiology, and dermatology, in addition to other activities within the scientific program.
Later, two agreements were signed within the activities of the Russian-Syrian International Conference on Healthcare. The first was signed between the University Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology in Damascus and the National Union of Dermatologists and Cosmetologists in the Russian Federation, and the second agreement was signed between the University of Damascus and the Krasnov Institute for Research on Eye Diseases in the Russian Federation, to develop and deepen scientific cooperation relations between them.
