A year after the war of extermination in Gaza… about 42 thousand Palestinian martyrs

A year has passed since the Israeli aggression and war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, during which the Israeli occupation  used every type of weapon.
This resulted in the martyrdom of about 42 thousand Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the wounding of about 96 thousand, according to statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and the complete destruction of the health and education systems, homes, facilities and infrastructure.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed in its periodic reports that the escalating atrocities in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli aggression go beyond mere numerical reports, and constitute serious violations of all human rights.
The Ministry of Health indicated that 15 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are partially operating and are facing a severe shortage of medical supplies, and the occupation destroyed and burned 32 hospitals in the Strip and put them out of service.
The ministry pointed out  that about 986 people in the health sector were martyred, while the occupation arrested 310 others, hundreds of them were injured, and the occupation forces destroyed 130 ambulances.
It  indicated  that the occupation’s deliberate targeting of the medical infrastructure led to depriving Palestinians of the ability to access basic health care services, as it launched more than 340 attacks on health care facilities and workers
The Palestinian health ministry made it clear  that Gaza is facing a health disaster due to the lack of safe water resources, basic hygiene needs, and overcrowding.
Regarding the losses in the health sector, Palestinian Health Minister Majed Abu Ramadan said: “The estimates related to the losses in the health sector are not fixed, as the targeting and destruction continue and increase day after day, and we may need to rebuild everything from scratch,”
He noted  that the international community has not been able to stop the aggression so far, so at least it is responsible for providing relief to the population and rebuilding what has been destroyed.
