Hundreds of people took part in mass demonstrations in both America and the British capital, London, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians and massive destruction of residential buildings, schools, hospitals and vital facilities.
Wafa Agency reported that demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people were held in Manhattan, Rochester, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles and Dallas, the most prominent of which was a stand in front of the White House in Washington, DC, where the demonstrators demanded that the government of President Joe Biden ban arms from “Israel” to stop the genocide it is committing against innocent people and transfer funds to aid those affected inspecific areas instead of supporting “Israel” which is committing massacres against the Palestinians.
In the British capital, London, about 300,000 people participated in a mass demonstration in support of Palestine. The demonstration included raising the Palestinian flag and chanting slogans denouncing the Israeli occupation and the commission of genocide in the Gaza Strip, affirming their support for the complaint filed against Israel before the International Court of Justice.
In a related context, hundreds of Czech citizens demonstrated in the Czech capital Prague, in support of the Palestinian people, and in condemnation of the brutal attacks launched by the Israeli enemy entity on the Gaza Strip, Lebanon and Syria. The demonstrators chanted slogans hailing the just struggle of the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation and denouncing the genocide committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
They also demanded the immediate withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, the release of prisoners and allowing the return of the residents of the Gaza Strip .
The Czechoslovak Communist Party also organized a solidarity stand yesterday at Peace Square, in support of the Palestinian people, and in condemnation of the brutal aggression on Lebanon, Gaza and Syria.
In its statement, the party renewed its support for efforts aimed at achieving just peace in the Middle East region in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions that include the Palestinians’ right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.
In his speech, Engineer Nizar Trabelsi, representative of the Syrian Communist Party, called for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the Israeli attacks on Syria, Lebanon and Gaza, which threaten international peace and security, and to allow the entry of food, medical and other aid.
