PSL: Musfat Banias beat Omaya

DAMASCUS,(ST)-Musfat Banias have beaten Omaya 1-0 in the Professional soccer League 2nd leg 7th round at the Faiha stadium in Damascus.

Striker Ahmad Mar’ash put his side early in the lead with a close-range shot .

Omaya , during the course of the match, tried relentlessly to amend the score but to no avail.

With this win, MusfatBanias lifted their tally to 23 points while Omaya’s tally remained at 12 points and thus they are at the bottom of the group.

In another action,Shurta deservedly defeated Nawaeer  4-1 at the Muhafaza stadium in Damascus.

With this marvelous victory, Shurta moved up to second place with a tally of 23 points.

Jihad snatched a three precious points from Wathba as they beat them 1-0 at the Tishreen stadium in Damascus.

Hurria beat Tishreen 2-0 at the Faiha stadium.

Points position to date:

Musfat Banias 23;Shurta 23;Majd 21 ;Jihad 20;Wathba 19;Tishreen 18; Nawaeer 16; Hurria 16 and finally Omaya with 12 points.
