DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Syria has condemned the terrorist acts and bombings committed by the Takfiri terrorist “ Bako Haram” group in Nigeria.
In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that it follows with great concern news of the terrorist acts carried out by the “ Takfiri Bako Haram” group in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where these groups commit most heinous killing, burning, and displacing crimes against innocent civilians, students and national army soldiers, noting the recent booby-trapped car explosion in a transport garage in the outskirt of the capital Abuja, which resulted in killing more than 50 persons and wounding other scores.
“The Syrian government condemns these explosions, is voicing solidarity with the people and government of federal Nigeria and extends most sincere commemorations to the families of the victims of this terrorism,” the statement added.
The Ministry reiterated that the Syrian government places the international community before its responsibilities towards the need of an urgent and serious move to challenge this al-Qaeda affiliated Wahabi bloody Takfiri terrorism which has become an international phenomenon endangering world peace and security and demand holding terrorism supporting countries, groups and individual accountable.
