Seven security personnel killed and injured in a terrorist attack in Kirkuk in Iraq

Baghdad,(ST)- Four members of the Iraqi security forces were killed and three others were injured in an attack by ISIS terrorists in Kirkuk province.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior reported according to INA News Agency that a force from the 42nd Brigade Intelligence of the 11th Division was ambushed while carrying out a reconnaissance and inspection in Zgheiton Valley within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector, which resulted in the killing of 4 of its members and the injury of three others with varying injuries.

It stated that the force was reinforced and the terrorist group was surrounded, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
