Pezeshkian: If the Zionists repeat their attacks on Iran, they will receive a crushing response

Tehran-(ST)-  Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that if the Zionists make a mistake and repeat their attacks on Iran, they will receive a crushing response.

Pezeshkian said during the Iranian government meeting today: “We do not compromise on the dignity of the Iranian people,” stressing that the Iranian Armed Forces’ operation (True Promise 2) proved once again that “the alleged Zionist Iron Dome is more fragile than glass.”

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Iran’s response to the crimes of the Zionist entity came based on the country’s legitimate rights and in defense of peace and security of Iran and the region.

Yesterday, in a post on the “X” platform following the missile strikes carried out by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against the Zionist entity, Pezeshkian said that Iran’s response to the crimes of the Zionist entity came based on the country’s legitimate rights and in defense of peace and security of Iran and the region.

“This is only part of our strength. Do not enter into conflict with Iran,” Pezeshkian stressed.

During his meeting with members of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, President Pezeshkian stressed that he will never back down from the logical defense of Iran, adding that when we are in a position of strength, there is no need to use aggressive and harsh rhetoric.

Also late on Tuesday, the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, stressed that Iran had only shown the aggressors a part of its power.

Qalibaf explained in an official post that “we stand with all our strength and on the basis of the right to legitimate defense against the warmongering practices of the Zionist entity and we have planned our responses beyond expectations to respond to the enemy’s threats.”

Ali Larijani, advisor to the leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, also stressed that the Iranian missile operation against the Zionist entity was necessary and came at the right time in response to the aggression that Iran was subjected to, stressing at the same time that Iran’s strategy is summarized in resolving regional issues through peace, not war.

In an official statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed the country’s full readiness to take further defensive measures, stressing that Iran’s missile response to the Zionist entity’s attacks came in line with the right of legitimate defense, under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed in its statement that Iran holds the supporters and providers of funds and weapons to the Zionist entity responsible for stopping its insane actions, warns against the entry of any third party, and calls on the Security Council to take immediate and purposeful measures to prevent the continuation of this entity’s threats to regional and international peace and security.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Nasirzadeh also confirmed that the missile operations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in the True Promise 2 are one aspect of our missile capabilities and “we did not use another aspect of the missile’s capabilities that are more advanced in terms of technology and severity of damage.”

Nasirzadeh said that the operation on Tuesday evening targeted all military, operational and security targets, stressing that it was completely legitimate and in line with international laws, renewing the warning that if the Zionist entity were to respond, Iran would use more of the various weapons at its disposal.

In a statement, the Iranian General Staff warned the countries supporting the Zionist entity against the possibility of their intervention, announcing that Iran will target their interests and headquarters in the region with force, adding that we warn against any Israeli foolishness in responding to the legitimate operation of our armed forces, stressing that if the aggressor entity responds, it should expect the widespread destruction of its infrastructure.
