Peskov: Russia condemns Israeli strikes on Syria

Russian Kremlin Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday that his country condemns the Israeli strikes on the sovereign territory of Syria.

RT quoted Peskov as saying to the journalists “We are, of course, in constant contact with our Syrian friends and we condemn these attacks on a sovereign state.”

Peskov expressed his country’s great concern over the escalation of tension in the region.

Earlier, a military source had announced that the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression with warplanes and drones at dawn today from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of points in Damascus, as the Syrian air defenses Forces confronted the enemy’s missiles and drones, shooting down most of them.
