Pyongyang: Israeli brutal attacks on Lebanon are heinous war crimes

Pyongyang (ST)-

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) strongly condemns the brutal crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli occupation entity in Palestine, Lebanon and the Middle East region

The spokesman for the DPRK’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “Israel resorts to massacres, terrorism and assassinations, justifying its cimes by the so-called “the right to self-defense and security.  Israel’s brutality and brazen behavior arouse the international community’s deep hatred and resentment against it.”

The spokesman stressed that the Israeli entity’s killing of a large number of civilians, through launching an indiscriminate military attack and terrorist acts against Lebanon, constitutes a heinous war crime and an immoral crime

He said: “We strongly condemn Israel’s expansion of its large-scale massacre of innocent civilians throughout the Middle East and the heinous and organized terrorist acts committed by the United States under the protection of Israel, and we express our steadfast support and solidarity with the Arab peoples in their struggle to defend their sovereignty, right to exist and territorial integrity .”

The spokesman stressed that the key to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East lies in ensuring the legitimate national right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, and putting an end to the Israeli invasion and the aggressive acts it is committing against Arab countries as soon as possible
