Washington admits coordination with the Israeli entity regarding the aggression on Lebanon

Washington, (ST) –  The US State Department acknowledged today coordination with the Israeli occupation entity regarding the aggression launched by the occupation forces on residential buildings in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, which resulted in the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and several civilians.

Reuters quoted the ministry as saying: “Israel” informed the United States of a number of operations and discussed reports of ground operations.

It added: The operations were focused on Hezbollah’s infrastructure near the border with Lebanon.

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said: They are informing us of a number of operations. My information is that I have seen reports of ground operations, and have had some conversations with them about them.

He clarified that the two sides are holding ongoing talks about this aggression.
