Syria condemns targeting UAE ambassador’s residence in Sudan

Syria expressed its condemnation of targeting the residence of the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, calling for respecting the provisions of the Vienna Convention on the Protection of Diplomatic Premises and Diplomats

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Tuesday: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its condemnation of targeting the residence of the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan

The ministry called on all parties to respect the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 which emphasizes providing protection to diplomats, respecting the sanctity of diplomatic missions and ensuring their safety
