Three Syrian films take part in the upcoming Libya International Film Festival

The National Film Organization is participating with three short narrative films in the first edition of the Libya International Short Film Festival, “The Late Director Mohamed Al-Farjani Edition ,” which will kick off next Tuesday with wide Arab and foreign participation.
The participating Syrian films are “As It Suits You,” written by Roulaf Ayoubi and directed by Kawthar Maarawi, which talks about the loss of a father and the psychological and social problems his children suffer after his passing, which sometimes extend for many years after death.
The film “Al-Zariba,” ( the barn) written and directed by Al-Ayham Ali, deals with the life story of the young man Samer, who is at the beginning of his life, and his life turns upside down, and the public and the private, reality and fantasy, and madness and sanity are mixed for him.
The third film participating in the festival is “Heart Attack”, directed by Amr Ali, who co-wrote it with Hozan Abdo.
The film revolves around an elderly woman who waits for some of her family members on Eid morning, but things take a different direction that reveals an image of the deterioration of social relations in our time.
These films compete in the short narrative films competition, which includes 32 films from Arab and foreign countries.
During the two- day  festival, artistic performances and cultural activities will be presented at the Jamal Eddin al-Miladi Institute. The  festival will conclude its activities on October the 4th  at the Rixos Halls Complex.
