Syria’s youth football team beats Bhutan in second round of Asian qualifiers

Hanoi,( ST) – Syria’s youth football team beat BhutanBhutan 1-0 today, in the second round of Asian qualifiers held at Lach Trai Stadium in the Vietnamese city of Haiphong.

Ahmed Kalo scored our team’s only goal in the 68th minute of the second half of the match.

The Syrian team won its first match against Bangladesh 4-0.

The Syrian team’s lineup included Maxim Sarraf, Ahmed Khalil, Hassan Mahmoud, Abdul Rahman Al-Arjah, Ahmed Kalo, Anas Dahan, Youssef Kanaj, Wissam Dokhan, Kawa Issa, Mohammed Al-Mustafa, and Mamdouh Warda.

The team will play Guam the day after tomorrow and Vietnam next Sunday.
