Demonstrations in a number of US cities in protest against Washington’s support for Israel

 Washington (ST)-
Protesters demonstrated in a number of American cities in denunciation of the American military support for “Israel” which continues its aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, demanding the imposition of a ban on arms exports to this entity
Reuters quoted the anti-war coalition “ANSWER” as saying in a statement: “Protesters gathered in Herald Square in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, San Antonio and Phoenix, demanding an end to the continuing Israeli aggression on Gaza and an end to the attacks on Lebanon.”
The statement added: “Israel’s attacks on Lebanon and the siege and genocide in Gaza continue, due to the huge amount of bombs, missiles and warplanes provided by the US government,” calling for a halt to these military supplies that prolong the war and cause more civilian casualties.
The United States  continues to support its ally “Israel” despite local and international criticism condemning the continued brutal crimes of the Israeli occupation against Lebanon and Gaza Strip.
