Iran condemns the Zionist aggression and crimes committed against innocent Lebanese

Tehran (ST) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes launched by the aggressive Zionist entity on various residential areas in southern Lebanon, killing and wounding hundreds of innocent people of this country.

The Iranian News Agency “IRNA” quoted the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani today as saying: These insane attacks would not have taken place and continued had it not been for the international silence regarding the crimes of the Zionist regime that have been ongoing since last year, as it continues its policy of genocide in Palestine and Lebanon.

Kanaani considered the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist entity in Palestine and the expansion of the scope of these crimes to Lebanon a clear example of the serious threat to regional and international peace and security, calling for immediate action by the United Nations Security Council to stop these crimes.

Kanaani criticized the support of the United States and some Westerners for the Zionist entity, and warned against the continuation of the crimes of this criminal entity against the Palestinian people and its attempt to expand the scope of the war to the entire region, and he also warned of the serious consequences of the new adventure of the Zionists in Lebanon.
