Algeria affirms its solidarity with Lebanon against the backdrop of Israeli cyber attacks

Algeria announced its full solidarity with Lebanon against the backdrop of the Israeli cyber aggression that resulted in a number of martyrs and hundreds of injuries.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Ahmed attaf made a phone call to his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Bou Habib. During the phone call, he assured that “Algeria stands by Lebanon in the light of the difficult circumstances it is going through as a result of the Zionist Cyber-attack and the continuous and repeated Israeli attacks on its security and stability”.
Attaf stressed, “Algeria’s continuation of its efforts and endeavors aimed at defending Lebanon’s positions, sovereignty, and vital interests in the face of the systematic Israeli escalation on more than one level and in more than one direction in the region”.
According to the statement, Attaf expressed Algeria’s condolences and sympathy to the Lebanese government and people following the Zionist cyber-attack that left many victims.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, yesterday’s cyber-attack led to the martyrdom of 20 people, including two children, and injured about 450 others, while the day before the toll was 12 martyrs and 2,800  wounded.
