Lebanese resistance destroys Merkava tank belonging to the Zionist enemy

BEIRUT, SEP.14, (ST)- Today at dawn, the Lebanese resistance targeted with dozens of Katyusha rockets a military base of the Israeli enemy forces in northern occupied Palestine, and destroyed one of its Merkava tanks.

The resistance’s statement said: “In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe houses, especially in the town of Al-Ahmadiyya, our fighters today bombed the reserve headquarters of the Northern Corps and the Galilee Division’s reserve base and its logistical stores in Amiad with dozens of Katyusha rockets.”

The resistance also announced in a second statement that it had targeted the Israeli enemy’s Merkava tank on the Ruwaisat Al-Alam-Zibdin road with a guided missile, and hit it directly, leading to its destruction and its ignition. “This was in response to its attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe houses, especially in the town of Zabdi. In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their resistance.”

Yesterday, the resistance carried out nine operations targeting the Israeli enemy and the locations of its soldiers deployed on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
