China’s Defense Minister: The Only Solution in Ukraine and Gaza Strip is Political Settlement Through Negotiations

Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun stressed that the only solution to the Ukrainian crisis and the conflict in the Middle East is to work to promote access to a political settlement through negotiations.

“The end point of any conflict is a peaceful solution, and the sooner we sit down at the negotiating table and start talks, the sooner peace will be resolved, and in this way, urgent issues such as the Ukrainian crisis and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict will be resolved,” John was quoted by Novosti as saying during the opening of the Xiangshan Security Forum today.

“The only and main way out is to push for a political settlement through a comprehensive discussion, and many countries around the world are now actively working for a ceasefire and ending wars, consensus is growing on the need to preserve peace, and momentum is growing to promote reconciliation,” John added.

The Chinese Defense Minister stressed that as long as all parties work together to establish peace, they will be able to move from disputes and conflicts to a peaceful solution.
