With the participation of Syria, the International Anti-Fascism Forum kicks off in Moscow

The International Anti-Fascist Forum kicked off on Wednesday in the Russian capital, Moscow, with the participation of Syria

The representative of the Syrian embassy, Councilor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Ismail, said in his speech: “The Forum has become an annual tradition in which we participate with interest and effectiveness in Moscow which played the greatest and decisive role in defeating German Nazism and global fascism”.

He pointed out that “the forum has become an international platform that annually sheds light on the renewed and ongoing danger of fascism to the lives, freedom, and sovereignty of peoples”.

Ismail added: “The forum acquires special and exceptional importance in light of the complex regional and international circumstances that the world is going through in light of the return and rise of racist, fascist and neo-Nazist tendencies”.

Ismail stressed that the victory over neo-Nazism is a victory for the global majority through the combination of their effort and joint work to establish the slogan that unites the world. Which is ” no to war, no to violence, no to fascism”, we add: no to supremacy and no to unipolarity and yes to justice, equality and yes to multi-polarity, yes to lifting oppression and injustice from people”.

Representatives of the Russian government, academic and parliamentary institutions, embassies and foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Russia participated in the forum.
