Peskov: Moscow will not leave unanswered any possible Ukrainian attack

Moscow, (ST)- Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that his country will respond appropriately to Washington’s permission for any possible Ukrainian attack deep inside Russian territory with long-range weapons.

Peskov said in a media briefing today in Moscow: The response to the Ukrainian attacks will be similar, noting that there is no need to expect any answers to all these actions, as the special military operation is the response to all these measures.

Peskov explained that every similar decision taken by the collective West and then attributed to Ukraine is an additional confirmation of the necessity of the special military operation in Ukraine and the absence of alternatives to it.

Peskov noted that the Kremlin assumes that the United States has already decided to lift restrictions on the use of ATACMS missiles to launch attacks on Russian territory from Ukraine, and said: Most likely, all these decisions have already been made with a high degree of probability, and at the moment a media campaign is underway to formalize the decision that has already been made, indicating that the involvement of the United States and European countries in the conflict over Ukraine is direct.

On the other hand, Peskov stated that the information about the alleged supply of Iranian missiles to Russia is unfounded, and that the Russian army has a full arsenal of all the means necessary to continue the special military operation.
