Arab and international condemnation of the Israeli occupation massacre against the displaced in Mawasi, Khan Yunis

The horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation on Tuesday against the displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip has been widely condemned by Arab and foreign countries.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the occupation’s bombing of the Al-Mawasi area, which is part of a series of repeated violations against the Palestinians, renewing its call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip and its categorical rejection of the continuation of the crimes of genocide committed against the people there.
In turn, Egypt condemned the occupation’s perpetration of the massacre in Khan Yunis, expressing its denunciation of the occupation’s continued massacres against the Palestinians in the Strip.
It called on the international community to avoid the policy of double standards and to assume its humanitarian and moral responsibilities to stop the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza Strip immediately.
Meanwhile, Jordan affirmed its absolute rejection and denunciation of the Israeli occupation’s continued violation of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law and the commission of war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza  Strip, the most recent of which was the Al-Mawasi massacre.
Jordan referred to the absence of a firm international position that deters the occupation entity and forces it to respect international law and stop its aggression on Gaza which resulted in  killing, destruction and unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
Cuba condemned the horrific massacre committed by the occupation in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, noting that such crimes indicates the insistence of the occupation to continue the genocide in the Strip and show its disrespect for international humanitarian law.
In a related context, Norway condemned the massacre committed by the occupation west of Khan Yunis, calling for an end to the occupation’s violation of international humanitarian law and the need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Arab Parliament considered the Al-Mawasi massacre a continuation of the policy of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people in a blatant challenge to international laws and conventions.
It called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the ceasefire, the war of genocide and the brutal massacres committed by the occupation against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In turn, The Organization of Islamic Cooperation stressed that the failure of the international community to carry out its responsibilities in implementing international law and international legitimacy resolutions contributed to strengthening the culture of impunity of the occupation and exacerbated the human suffering in Gaza Strip.
The organization called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards imposing an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire and taking decisive measures to end the occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
