People’s Assembly calls on world patliaments and parliamentary unions to condemn the Israeli aggression on Misyaf

The People’s Assembly (PA) has strongly condemned the repeated Zionist attacks on Syrian territories, the latest of which was the cowardly attack that targeted a number of civilian-populated areas in the city of Misyaf the day before yesterday, which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of people and caused great material damage and losses to the properties of innocent citizens and the destruction of infrastructure networks in this area and its surroundings.

This blatant attack, which is added to the Zionist entity’s criminal record based on terrorism, killing and displacement, clearly indicates the continuous efforts of the Israeli entity to drag the region into more chaos and conflict, escalate the situation there and expand its criminal practices with unlimited support by the United States and its Western allies under the sight of the entire world and amid its suspicious silence,”  the PA said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement added that the People’s Assembly calls on all Arab, regional and international parliamentary unions and organizations as well as all national
councils and parliaments to condemn this criminal act based on their humanitarian, legal and moral responsibilities and duties. The PA also called for putting pressure on the brutal Zionist occupation government to put an end to these aggressive practices, which blatantly violate the most basic rules of human rights, international humanitarian law as well as the goals and principles of the United Nations, and to respect the sovereignty of states and the rights of citizens to live in security, peace and stability.
