Russia strongly condemns the Israeli aggression on Misyaf in Syria’s central region

Russia strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Syria, which targeted areas around Misyaf city in Hama countryside the day before yesterday, claiming the lives of 18 citizens, wounding 37 others, and causing significant material damage, including to civilian infrastructure.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a statement on Tuesday: “we firmly condemn the aggresive acts practiced by Israel, which grossly violate Syria’s sovereignty and the basic principles of international law.”

Zakharova called on Israel to stop practicing armed provocations against Syria and refrain from such irresponsible actions that risk destabilizing the Middle East region.
