The 1st ” Expo Syria 2024″ concluded

The activities of the first edition of the “Expo Syria 2024” concluded yesterday evening at Damascus  fairgrounds. The distinguished economic event concluded the participation of 600 national industrial companies which displayed their textile, food, chemical and engineering products and services. According to a statement by the organizing committee of the event , the five-day exhibition witnessed the visit of tens of thousands of merchants , industrialists and businessmen, including more than 3,000 from Pakistan, China, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, Libya and other countries, most of whom concluded agreements and understandings with the owners and officials of the participating companies to export national products to foreign markets.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, Head  of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, Ghazwan Al-Masri, confirmed that Expo Syria 2024 was an outstanding success, and that the participants in the textile sector were able to register the largest number of export contracts, followed by the food sector, which requires supporting the chemical and engineering sectors in the upcoming exhibition editions.
He pointed to the great turn out which the exhibition witnessed  by  Arab and foreign businessmen and traders, which requires continuing to hold this exhibition annually with the aim of promoting Syrian products and increasing exports, which is reflected in increasing production and operating factories at their maximum capacity and benefits the national economy.
Al-Masri noted the government support for the exhibition and the cooperation of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry with the regional office of the Federation of Arab Exporters and Importers, the Exporters Committee and other federations, wishing the continuation of this support to double the volume of exports to advance the economic and industrial reality in all its sectors.
