Two injured in Israeli airstrike on south Lebanon

Beirut, (ST) – Two people were injured this morning in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Khiam in south Lebanon.

A statement by the Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, stated that the Israeli airstrike targeted houses in the town of Khiam, wounding two people who were admitted to Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital.

In addition, the enemy drones targeted the eastern outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab, while the enemy warplanes raided the valleys and barren lands adjacent to the towns of Zebqin and Yater in the western sector.

The Israeli reconnaissance and drone aircraft intensified their flights over the villages of the western and central sectors until the early morning hours

Four people injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Markaba in southern Lebanon

Yesterday, 4 people were injured, one of them seriously, in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Markaba in south Lebanon, as announced by the Health Emergency Operations Center affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

The Lebanese Civil Defense team survived after the enemy deliberately attempted to target it with artillery while it was working to extinguish a fire that broke out in the Al-Hajjah area between the towns of Alma al-Shaab and Al-Dahra.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported: While the Civil Defense teams were heading to extinguish the fire that broke out between Alma Al-Shaab and Al-Dahra in the area as a result of an Israeli missile falling in the forests of the area, the enemy artillery targeted the place with a number of shells, where divine providence prevented any casualties among the Civil Defense team.

Two people were martyred yesterday as a result of an airstrike launched by the Israeli enemy aircraft on a car in the town of Naqoua in southern Lebanon.
