The first edition of the “Expo Syria 2024” exhibition for Syrian exports is due to kick off today with the participation of 600 companies on an area of 50 thousand square meters at the Fairgrounds in Damascus.
In a statement to a SANA reporter, Head of the Syrian Garment and Textile Exporters Association STGEA , Ragheed Al-Halabi, said the five-day exhibition includes heavy, textile, food and pharmaceutical industries, after years of war and unjust sanctions, and it constitutes a sign of recovery for the country.
He added: “The number of exhibition guests coming from outside Syria is 3,000 people, and work has been done to secure all logistical services and supplies for them regarding air and land transportation and hosting”.
Al-Halabi pointed out that the exhibition starts daily from five in the evening until eleven at night for specialists, merchants and exporters.
