Khaji to Pedersen: Israeli repeated attacks on Syria serve the terrorists

Iranian Foreign Minister’s Special Advisor for Political Affairs Ali Asghar Khaji has affirmed that the continued Israeli attacks on Syria shows the aggressive nature of the Israeli entity and serves the terrorists active in the Syria.

Khaji explained during talks with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen via video that the continued Israeli attacks on Syria prove the aggressive nature of the Zionist entity and serve the terrorists in the country, expressing hope that stability will be achieved in the entire region.

The two sides also discussed the political, economic and field developments in Syria, especially issues related to combating terrorism, the expansion of the Israeli entity’s attacks on Syria, the humanitarian crisis there, and the necessity of continuing the political process to resolve the crisis there.

In turn, Pedersen reviewed most recent measures taken and meetings held regarding advancing a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
