Syrian Ministry of Culture participates in the International Cultural Forum for Children in Russia

Moscow (ST) – The Ministry of Culture participated in the activities of the International Cultural Forum for Children in the Russian Federation through six children who won creative competitions held earlier by the Ministry.

The fields in which the children participated were traditional handicrafts, shadow theatre, plastic arts, and playing the “qanun, carnet, and piano” instruments as some of them are students of the Salhi Al-Wadi Institute of Music.

The Director of the Children’s Culture Directorate in the Ministry Malak Yassin stressed the importance of this participation for cultural exchange and for children to gain experience and cultural knowledge to develop their artistic creativity.

Yassin indicated that they presented cultural artistic creativity that represents the culture of Syrian society, which received great interaction and appreciation from those present in Moscow.
