Palestinian Resistance Factions: The Occupation’s Aggression on the West Bank is an Expansion of the War of Extermination

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian resistance factions stressed that the broad aggression launched by the Israeli occupation on the cities of Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank is an expansion of the brutal war of extermination it is waging on Gaza Strip. They stressed that this will not terrorize the Palestinian people, and will only increase their determination to defeat the occupation.
The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” clarified in a statement today that the occupation’s aggression on the cities of the northern West Bank, as well as the detentions and the systematic destruction of the infrastructure is a new crime and a natural result of the suspicious international silence on the occupation’s flagrant violations of all international laws and its deliberate targeting of defenseless civilians with the intent of extermination and displacement, based on absolute political and military support from the US administration and some Western capitals.
Hamas stressed that the criminal military campaign of the occupation will inevitably be broken by the steadfastness and determination of the Palestinian people in the cities, towns and camps of the West Bank and the determination of the resistance, which will continue to defend the land and holy sites until liberation and the end of the occupation.
In turn, the Islamic Jihad Movement indicated that the occupation’s aggression on the West Bank is an attempt to impose new facts on the ground, aiming to implement annexation plans and extend its control over the city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Al-Aqsa Mosque in flagrant violation of all international laws and conventions.
The movement said: As in Gaza, the enemy’s entity, supported by the US administration, is committing its crimes in the occupied West Bank, while the world watches these crimes in the face of blatant inaction, standing idly by and leaving the Palestinian people alone in the face of the ongoing Zionist killing machine. It referred that the resistance is fighting the fiercest battles to confront this criminal campaign.
The movement called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the occupation’s massacres and violations and on the peoples of the world to take effective action to support the Palestinian people, and to reject the ongoing occupation aggression, which aims to liquidate their just cause.
For its part, the Fatah movement stressed that the occupation’s barbaric aggression on Gaza Strip and the West Bank within the systematic war of extermination since October 7 will not terrorize the Palestinian people or dissipate their will for freedom and independence, and will not achieve the occupation’s goals of displacing or uprooting them from their land.
Fatah pointed out that the fascist practices of the occupation army, represented in targeting civilians, besieging hospitals, and assaulting medical and journalistic crews demonstrate the extent of the occupation’s brutality. It called on the international community to oblige it to stop the war of extermination, comply with international law, and achieve the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is their right to establish their independent, sovereign state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
