The Turkish aggression against Syrian people has taken various forms starting from hosting, training and exporting terrorists to Syria to kill Syrian people and destroy Syria’s infrastructure. However, this crime was not sufficient for Erdogan and his ilk, so they escalated their aggression by violating the Syrian airspace, downing a Syrian plane and helping al-Qa’eda and al-Nosra members to attack Kasab in a flagrant violation of the UN charter and international law. Another aspect of the Turkish aggression was plundering Syrian factories and establishments in Aleppo and Idleb.
The third aspect of Erdogan’s crimes was exploiting Syrian children, who have left their home country due to the brutal practices of the armed terrorist groups who forced them to leave their houses fleeing the savage atrocities of al-Qa’eda and al-Nosra members who were sent by Erdogan to Syria to implement the US-Zionist project against Syria and the whole region. Syrian children in Turkish camps are being exploited in the worst ways that constitute gross violation of human rights. These include exploiting children for the sale of cigarettes in south-eastern Turkey, a destination full of cigarettes smuggled in from several countries.
Those camps are repeatedly witnessing death cases among children due to non-availability of suitable living conditions and shortage of food and medical care. The Turkish Hurriyet daily news mentioned that countless peddlers, mostly Syrian children, are used by smuggled cigarette networks in the region, referring that most of them are employed for 20 Turkish Liras daily or less. Shop owners drew attention to the increasing numbers of Syrians who are used by smuggled cigarette networks in the region.
The displaced Syrians, who were forced to leave their villages and towns due to the armed terrorist groups’ criminal acts, are suffering difficult and harsh and inhumane conditions in the Turkish camps and they are being used as a tool for the blackmail and political exploitation of the crisis in Syria by Erdogan and Al-Saud.
The violations of the rights of the child at the displaced camps in Turkey are still taking place on daily basis and the authorities concerned are standing still in spite of the UN report which referred to these gross violations. Several UN reports mentioned that Syrian children at the Turkish camps and in other neighbouring countries are being recruited in the armed groups and used as human shields. This is a clear and frank confession by the UN that the international resolutions and conventions which prohibit the recruitment of children are being violated by the armed terrorist groups supported by the princes of Al-Saud, Qatar and Turkey. The Syrian government is working in various ways and negotiating with UN bodies to cut down on these violations which are taking place at the camps. The international community has to prove its credibility and put pressure on Erdogan’s government to halt the gross violations and atrocious crimes against Syrian people.
