Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Settlers ‘ Attack on Jet Village Reflects the Occupation Organized Terrorism

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the brutal settlers ‘ attack on the village of Jet east of the West Bank city of Qalqilya reflects the organized terrorism embodied by the Israeli occupation throughout the Palestinian Territories.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today, quoted by the Palestinian WAFA Agency, that the terrorist attack carried out by settler gangs under the protection of the occupation forces yesterday evening is a serious escalation in its ongoing crimes against Palestinians in the West Bank, pointing out that the sanctions of a number of countries on some settlers are insufficient and did not prevent them from continuing their attacks.

For his part, the chairman of the Palestinian National Council, Rouhi Fattouh, condemned the attack launched by terrorist settlers on the village under the protection of the occupation forces, stressing that the Palestinian people will fail all attempts of displacement and ethnic cleansing, confront settler gangs and defend their land.

Yesterday, settlers stormed the village of Jet under the protection of the occupying forces and assaulted Palestinians by firing bullets, killing one young man and critically injuring another in the chest, they also set fire to a number of houses and vehicles, causing damage to them.
