Antonov: Washington Grants Carte Blanche to the Kiev Regime to Commit Crimes Similar to the Gas Pipelines Explosion

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov confirmed the fact that US officials did not comment on new media publications about the bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipelines means that they are giving “carte blanche” to the Kiev regime to commit similar actions in the future.

White House spokesman John Kirby yesterday refused to comment on what was published by The Wall Street Journal about Kiev’s involvement in the sabotage of the pipeline and the role of the United States in this process.

Sputnik quoted Antonov as saying in a statement: “in fact, we are talking about the implicit legitimization of terrorism… The refusal of officials to speak publicly about such a resonant topic is a clear indication that Washington has been granted carte blanche for similar crimes in the future.”

According to Antonov, the US authorities indirectly took a favorable stance as an external observer in an attempt to shift all responsibility to their Ukrainian puppets, stressing that the Kiev regime “will not take any step without getting the green light from Washington”.

“We, for our part, will strive to identify and punish the real perpetrators of the explosion and, together with others, will do our best to ensure that such atrocities will not happen again,” Antonov continued.
