Bagheri Kani: Silence on the brutality of the Zionists makes them more criminal

Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani stressed today that experience has proven that remaining silent about the Zionists’ military and security brutality and barbarity makes them more brutal and criminal.
Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Bagheri Kani as saying during a phone call with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa: “The bombing of civilian targets, including the destruction of schools, mosques, hospitals and other infrastructure and facilities, and the criminal killing of civilians in Gaza over the past ten months are clear evidence of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide of Palestinians by the Zionist entity.”
Bagheri Kani added: “The main reason for this intolerable situation is the American and Western aid to the occupation on the one hand, and the silence of some other countries towards the crimes Israel commits on the other hand,” criticizing the supportive Western position during the last meeting of the UN Security Council, which prevented the Council from carrying out its duties effectively and deterringly in confronting the Zionist entity.
In turn, Kamikawa expressed her country’s concern about the increasing escalation in the West Asia region, considering that calming the situation and reducing the level of tensions serves the interests of all parties.
