Miqdad Confirms Syria readiness to Contribute to End Suffering of People of al- Yarmouk Camp

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Delegated by President Mahmoud Abbas, of the State of Palestine, Ambassador Anwar Abdul Hadi Director of the Palestine Liberation Organization PLO Political Department in Damascus reassured health condition of, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moallem,, wishing him a speedy recovery, following the successful surgery he underwent.

Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad thanked President Abbas for this humanitarian gesture, wishing him every success against the Israeli arrogance.

 

Miqdad stressed Syria’s support for the Palestinian leadership position in rejecting the Israel’s request to recognize the Jewish state, which serves the racist goal of emptying the Palestinians from the territories of 1948 and manipulation of the fabric of the region to serve Zionist racist objectives.

As for Yarmouk camp, Miqdad stressed Syria’s readiness to provide all needs for ending the suffering of the people of the camp and continue providing food, exit of patients for treatment and support all efforts to carry out Palestinian factions initiative to vacate the camp from weapons and insurgents.

He stressed Syria’s continued challenge for the crimes carried out by terrorist groups in Yarmouk refugee camp and other Palestinian refugee camps in Syria.

For his part, Ambassador Abdul Hadi thanked the Syrian government for facilitating the entry of food for the people in Yarmouk camp and for Syria’s support for the unified Palestinian position in implementing the Palestinian initiative in the camp.
