US-Zionist escalation will be foiled by Syrians’ heroic steadfastness

The recent US Israeli and Western escalation against Syria after the failure of their successive sinister attempts, which started from the very beginning of the crisis, explains the real objectives of the US Zionist project in the region, especially ending the resistance axis in the region as Syria constitutes the frontline of resistance against Israel.

The US, its Western allies and regional tools have stepped up their support for the armed terrorist groups with the aim of dissuading Damascus from continuing on the path of resistance against the Zionist schemes.

 However, the US Israeli schemes will make the Syrians more determined to press ahead with their relentless struggle and unwavering stands in foiling the US Zionist project in the region. The terrorist aggression on Syria, which targets the Syrian state and man, cannot achieve its target because it doesn’t have legitimacy or justification, and there are some sides which realized that after all the media, finance, weapons and intelligence support, the project cannot be achieved, while others are still captivated by their own obsessions.

Terrorism-backers, on top of which Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, have not spared any means for realizing their objective, and they cannot do anything but supporting terrorism, which has dangerous repercussions on the whole region and the states sponsoring terrorism in particular.

The US and its allies are increasing their support for Takfiri extremists, who pretend to be defending Islam but are in fact trying to tarnish the image of Islam, distort its sublime values and achieve Zionist objectives by igniting sectarian wars in the states of the region.

The Western powers and their regional allies, especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are supporting terrorists operating inside Syria by financial and military aid, establishing training camps for terrorists and operation rooms in Amman and Turkey to plan their crimes against Syrian people and infrastructure.

Al- Saud Spy Chief, Bandar Bin Sultan, who is in charge of supervising the terrorist acts against Syria, has taken part in a meeting in Israel to discuss possible improvement of relations between Iran and the United States with Israeli premier and French president. According to Lebanese al-Hadath news website, the meeting was held in Tel Aviv, attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Francois Hollande and Saudi spy chief.  The participants discussed plans on how to counter Iran’s role in the region and also how to step up terrorist acts in Syria. The three also stressed the need for promoting intelligence cooperation with the kingdom, and planning military manoeuvres in Jordan and military meetings there to plan criminal acts against Syrian people and infrastructure. By increasing their support to terrorists, the US and its allies seek to prolong the crisis in Syria and while on one hand they claim to be fighting terrorism, they on the other hand, encourage and overlook the arms supplies reaching the terrorist groups. The Western countries want to weaken the Syrian government and army by keeping them busy fighting the terrorists, and this shows that the West is not in a hurry to resolve the crisis in Syria. Were the Western countries really honest in talk about combating terrorism, the crisis in Syria wouldn’t have taken that long definitely. A question is to be raised here where do the takfiri terrorist groups’ arms come from? They were brought to Syria from more than 83 states supported financially by the petro-dollar states, trained in camps opened in Turkey and Jordan and sent to Syria to kill Syrian people and devastate Syria’s factories, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure which the Syrians have built in decades. If the US and its allies’ stand towards Syria has credibility, the first thing they have to do is to dry all kinds of support for terrorists. Secondly, they have to stop interfering in Syria’s internal affairs, especially issues related to Syria’s sovereignty and independent decision. The U.S. administration and its international and regional tools continue the policy of dominating the world and humiliating its people, and the U.S. campaign against Syria is part of this policy. The U.S. administration is interfering in the internal affairs of Syria and trying to confiscate Syrian national positions, destabilize international peace and security and justify its support for terrorists and gunmen by equipping them with up-to-date weapons that have killed thousands of innocent Syrians, caused terrorism to spread in the region and the world and destroyed lots of infrastructure and economic institutions that have been built by Syrian people over decades.

The US double-standard policies made the United Nations suffer a kind of political void. Was there a little bit of diffidence in the international arena, the UN, which is supposed to solve the world’s problems, wouldn’t have been afflicted with this void and would have worked to establish real  peace in the world based on justice, honesty and respect of people’s sovereignty and independence. The UN should provide answers on its role during regional wars over the past ten years and its disregard of the human rights problems and violations in America’s detention camps. It is clear that the UN is unable to play its role impartially, because of the US hegemony over the US and its affiliated bodies. For this reason, many UN resolutions are politicised and based serving the US geo-political activities.

The US is planning a new drive against Syria through funding proxy war against Syria and its people. The British daily The Guardian reported that a fresh clandestine effort is being exerted for opening up a southern front against the Syrian people. A secret command centre for international operations in Amman is monitoring preparations for the offensive. This centre is staffed by military officials from the US, Britain, Israel and 11 Arab states, mainly the petro-dollar states. The information is based on leaks from the United States, Israel, Jordan and some Arab Gulf states.  The command centre, based in an intelligence headquarters building in Amman, channels vehicles, sniper rifles, mortars, heavy machine guns, small arms and ammunition to the armed groups to escalate their atrocious crimes against Syrian people.  The United States is also constructing runways for reconnaissance aircraft near the border between Jordan and Syria to help with the operations against Syria. The Guardian said the US hosted secret talks last month between President Barack Obama’s National Security Advisor Susan Rice and Saudi Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef. The talks, reportedly attended by spy chiefs from Jordan, Qatar, Turkey and other regional countries, focused on making a “stronger effort” to assist the terrorist groups operating in Syria.

The US-Israeli ceaseless hectic attempts against Syria make any observer realize that the United States and Israel are the only benefactors from a destabilized Middle East, particularly with their assault on Syria. When we see that the Americans, the Israelis,  the back-warded and retrogressive Arab regimes support to end legitimacy and destroy Syria, you would wonder, is it really the demand of the people, or is it like all done for the interests of the Americans and the Israelis? Of course, the answer is that the US and Israel want to implement their colonialist project in the region, which aims among other things, to perpetuate the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories, control the Arab region economically and politically and guarantee the end of any kind of resistance to Israel. The United States and its military arm in the region, Israel, are launching ferocious war against Syria because of its support of resistance movements in the Middle East. The US and Israel are the number one benefactors of what’s happening in Syria. Syria has always been supporting the resistance movement, has always been supporting Palestine, and has been working in order to sabotage all the efforts to normalize the relations with Israel and enable it to invade the Arab region politically and economically.

The foreign-backed terrorist groups operating in Syria should be held accountable for doing nothing but distorting the image of Islam, killing innocent people and devastating the infrastructure of Syria. People across the globe should unite in order to stand up to the American and to the Israeli occupation. We know very well, they are the number one supporters of the regimes and the despot governments. Why don’t we rise against them?” All free and peace-loving people all over the globe should unite to face the US Zionist projects which spread in the five continents to achieve their political and economic interests at the expense of people’s rights and sovereignty.
