Syria participates in the 9th conference of endowments and Islamic affairs ministers in Islamic world in Saudi Arabia

With the Participation of the Minister of Endowments ( Awqaf)  Muhammad Abul Sattar al-Sayyed,  the ninth conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the countries of the Islamic world kicked off on Sunday in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawaa and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the title “The Role of the Ministries of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Promoting  and consolidating the principles and values ​​of moderation”.
62 countries from the Islamic world are participating in the two-day conference, in the presence of a large number of endowment ministers as well as 250 Islamic personalities.
The conference aims to strengthen solidarity among Islamic countries, as well as coordination and cooperation between member states in the fields of endowments, advocacy and guidance, devoting the correct understanding of Islam in the face of extremism.
The event also aims at enhancing coordinating positions among member states for religious cooperation that achieves moderation and contributes to strengthening citizenship in countries of the  Islamic world  in order to preserve the stability of societies and peoples.
