OIC Demands Urgent Investigation into occupation violations against Palestinian prisoners

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called for an urgent international investigation into the ongoing crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation against Palestinian prisoners in its detention facilities.

The organization condemned the escalation of the occupation for its brutal crimes and unprecedented violations against thousands of Palestinian prisoners documented by specialized legal institutions, which included executions, torture, starvation, rape, isolation and cases of forced disappearance of detainees from the Gaza Strip.

The organization pointed out that the crimes of the occupation against the prisoners reach the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity and constitute a flagrant violation of all standards and rules of international humanitarian law, calling for an urgent international investigation into the inhumane conditions and ongoing violations against Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons.
